I guess you missed my point entirely, but it's OK I won't go into massive detail.

Our Rules consist of being mature, respectful, have fun with the game while still enjoying life. We don't have "zomgwtfbbqrulesofultimagecarnageplzdothemornocookiesforyou". Our Focus is to want either PvP, PvE or Both which is probably most Legion focus. Then again their are a lot of "Abyss" Only and "PvE Raid" Only Legions out there.

Either way, Standards are still a core of a Legion, without any standards you can't expect your Legion to function very well, nor get much of anything done. Now if you want either idiocracy or mediocracy in a Legion, well I guess you might get "something" done. (This was not targeting you btw, this was just an in general statement)

Edit: Beta also doesn't mean you are getting GOOD players either. Quite a few players aren't even talking on the boards, nor are playing the Beta. Most are waiting for Retail, so in my opinion, it wouldn't matter if I got members now or Retail.

Yes there will be Legions ahead of mine that already have a Mass of Players lined up and ready. But that is no way turns around says I'm not going to have members interested in my Legion. Plus, it also doesn't mean I won't get to know them in Retail Aion.

So for any Players that wish to become a part of my Legion now, it's up to them, I just simply state it's not a Beta Legion. Although, getting to know them isn't out of the question, neither is playing with them.

Why not recruit before release? if they talk big shit and don't perform, kick their ass out. If they are good then yay for them, you got them before they got lonely on release day and joined a "family guild" lol

RQ only recruited about half a dozen people, rest of our roster was filled from old RQ members (funny enough, we have a waiting list of 5 people, so I probably shouldn't have recruited at all.) But anyway, quote from a sticky on our private Aion forums.
