I'm using Windows Vista business right now on my home PC. Except for the complex as all hell interface ( Yes, Microsoft, I know its easier to use for retards, but I'm not a retard ), I have no qualms with it. It was slow as molasses when I ran on 2GB, but I upgraded to 4GB and now, I would even describe it as perky.

Win7 is a great operating system. I somehow got the beta candidate weeks before the beta from my cousin... and I used it for about 3 months. Loved it. Great operating system, well worth the $55 most people will shell out for a key. Stop whining like a beaten bitch.

I also got my Vista Business for free. And when considering that, I can't complain. If I did have a major complaint, I would simply switch OS's. Nobody put me to gunpoint and told me to use Vista Business.

I guess its one of those by the book things. But in normal usage, while an abyss by definition may be vast, abysmal is never used to describe vastness. Its just a hard, fast ( unspoken ) rule.

That said, when Vista crashes ( the power cord connection was not secure and fell out ), that thing fucking craps all over your harddrive. I let it run its fdisk because Vista kept insisting and the bitch "fixed" and by fixed, I mean "deleted" like 10,000 files. I thought it was just orphaned files left over from paging or something, but I guess not, because now, when I try to boot, lo and behold, Vista blue screens. Awesome. Now my computer is dead AGAIN, and I just fixed it like a month ago. Fucking shit man. This is why I like my PS3 and dislike Linux. Time to find a liveboot rescue disk and mirror off my backup image again.

Tbh, I'm not 100% sure its a working retail copy. I keep telling my cousin its some kind of stripped down dev kit deal, but he keeps telling me its full retail. And now, I really need a retail copy to fix my ailing computer.

Oh and I get 7 early because I'm awesome. Actually, it could be more because I'm also technically a dev as I signed up for the dev network after uni. Get a Bachelors in computer science and you can get the jump too. I get lots of other software too :3
