Unfortunately, my cousin's bosses are forcing him to pull a who knows how many hours workday ( he's already been in office for 13 hours, and doesn't know when he can leave ), so no Win7 for me today. But he has confirmed that it is indeed a production .iso, so Win7 is out.

Dude, engineering and computer science is so crap for the pay we get. I'm lucky when I did software testing, I was an intern, so they didn't even let me accumulate too much overtime in a week ( the one time I pulled an 8am to 11:30pm, I got a call the next day telling me not to do it again ), but my supervisors? Those guys pulled 13 - 24 hour workdays like six times a month.

If you ordered from most major notebook retailers, they usually have an upgrade plan where you can upgrade for fairly cheap. Hell, I even think Microsoft has some kind of upgrade plan. They really, really want people to buy 7.

Sweetness, there are no more game guard issues with Windows 7 are there?

It would suck to get everything ready and not be able to play Aion because game guard is messing up as it always does.

I've been running 7 beta for alittle while, gameguard seems alittle strange on it. 90% of the time I log on trouble free, then occasionally I get a game guard error. If I close it and relaunch, then no error.

I know (if anyone is still playing it) Lineage 2's game guard version won't run under win 7 tho.

I should be in for a release version shortly tho, but doubt it's much different from this beta.

Well my friend got his official release of the europe version and has described it as a

'heavily butchered beta, half my apps and games either won't run or are buggy. Yet they worked fine for the beta release. I didn't think they had to change anything other that not including I.E but they've done something. I'm going back to beta till its fixed or i can get a US release.'

Anyone else that got it (eu version) having problems?

hmm, i remember him saying Day of defeat: Source wasn't working but worked fine on beta, i'll try and contact him for a list of programs to try and find something you'd have.

Friend of mine showed me a decent alternative to purchasing 7. Instead of buying an upgrade for 200, you can get 7 for about 40 dollars cheaper by buying a copy of Vista with a voucher included.

Upgrade voucher for 150.

ya after reading your post i went and grabbed rtm, and loader 1.3, was kinda having trouble getting good torrent and stuff, but ya in the end oem-trick activated build 7600

But now the Dell OEM key has been leaked and the newest version of 7Loader now uses it. Ver 1.5
